Membership
Membership is open to all interested instrumentalists who have a minimum of high school band experience. While there is not a formal audition process for admittance to the ensemble, the conductor may request to hear new members individually in order to best facilitate part assignments.
To assist in the operation of our ensemble, it is expected that each member contribute dues. Members need to register for the ensemble through Adult Enrichment at Rockford Public Schools. Registration and payment can be submitted on-line through the district website. Semester dues are $49 per member. The RCB meets every Monday night from 7-9 pm at the East Rockford Middle School.
Please note that membership dues are not intended as a deterrent to participation in the ensemble. If there are any problems or concerns, members are encouraged to consult the conductor and/or any Board member.
